I'm taking a class right now called Music, Health and Healing (don't you love the Liberal Arts Education) and we're supposed to design a music intervention for ourselves. MIne is going to deal with using music to provide a distraction for relaxation purposes, and I want to use brazilian music. I have alittle bit but am looking for more. An artist that I am feeling is Jorge Ben especially the songs Carolina Carol Beia and ComancheI'm looking for more music similar to these songs,any help or direction would be greatly appreciated.Thanks,

    Oh and can anyone ID this song...


    The song name is "Berimbau", composed by Baden Powell.
    I thought it was Quarteto em Cy that was singing it, but I'm not sure.
    There were so many brazilian female groups that could sing it.
