Now see, THIS is what I was expecting over in that "1965 jazz art" thread - actual covers, rather than a bunch of abstract, esoteric drawings. By now, Blue Note must rank as the most copied album cover design ever from one label, and I should be tired of seeing that style by now, but in the end you can't front on how brilliant those sleeves were.

Yeah, it's a mystery to me too. An Impulse one would be nice as well. Verve.... the list just goes on & on really.
