Please help (song related)

Hi Strutters,On my car ride to the Netherlands i always listen to a local Maastricht station that plays jazz of all sorts. They have a pretty limited playlist with stuff like "Mercy, Mercy, Mercy" up to boring nu-era jazz looped beat schmock with trumpet solo on top. However, inbetween they always play cool songs like "nights over egypt" and "90% of me is you". So today i heard a very dope song in the same vein, fast fat disco drums drum with a pumping jazz bassline, a superbe singerette (I reckon it is early 80's or even late 70's) and the lyrics are phrases like: "I can't complain" "You want to make life better" "I believe it" "I need you here with me"I know, these are standard phrases, but it must be a classic anyway, as it is such a dope jazz-disco song. I'm sure you all know the deal. And, yes I took it to the interwebs, but no result. If anyone can help me, that would be superbe. Excuse my little dudeness when it comes to these things
