i keep realizing...im still 20. i got my whole life ahead of me. i dont really know what im doing or where im going but there is ONE thing i really wanna do.i wanna get out there and just bum around for a while. i think im gonna get my motorcycle going nice this summer and team up with my friend on his vespa and just take a trip for the whole season. stopping and staying with friends, making new ones, no real goal but just getting out there and having no obligations and having fun.i think it will be fun and im really looking forward to it.anything youre already looking to do, even if its far off? this is the best stuff to look forward to.

think, but not too hard, about what you want to do.

you don't want to pick something you might regret on, but you never know what happens in life, just go ahead and treat everything as life experience.

i suppose the most important thing is, do what makes you happy man.

but knowing that in the real world, your 20s and 30s is your prime time, once you messed up and wasted this away, it will be 100 times worse for you to catch back on...

    i keep realizing...im still 20.

Word the f*ck up to this statement.

Planning on *hopefully* getting out to NYC this spring.
Planning on going to Brasil next summer.
Planning on getting back into news writing in 2008.
    Planning on graduating in 09.

But most importantly, planning on not really planning it all out too much.

"I dunno, it's your future, Jerri. What do you plan to do?"

    "Go to my locker."

"No, Jerri, your future. Think way into your future. What are you going to do?"

    "...open it."

well, not a fast one. the '68 Honda CT90 i just got. tops out at about 55-60mph. but thats what i want, something fast enough to keep up with my friends vespa.

but i cant really think of another thing to call it. its not a moped, a noped, or a scooter....so i just call it a motorcycle. haha

    Hey,

Here are some things I plan to do, in no particular order:

    1. Produce my own hip-hop CD as a solo rap artist (in the next year or two).

    2. Produce my own R&B CD as a vocalist (something I've always wanted to do, who knows when).

    3. Take an Alaskan cruise.

    4. Visit the Caribbean.

    5. Visit the U.K.

    6. Visit Spain.

    7. Visit Finland and Norway (already been to Sweden).

    8. Visit Greece.

    9. Visit Africa and the holy lands.

    10. View the undersea world from a submarine.

    11. Become a Full Professor.

    12. Become a Fellow (or eminent professor) for one or more professional/scholarly organizations of my field (e.g., Society for Industrial-Organizational Psychology, Academy of Management, etc.).

    13. Sell a beat to a professional rap artist.

    14. Have a "real" relationship with my mother (if she learns empathy).

    15. See a Dallas Cowboy game live.

    16. Go to an NBA All-Star Game.

    17. Attend an MLB World Series Game.

    18. Go to a championship prize fight.

    19. Attend a Super Bowl game.

    20. Attend an NFL Pro-Bowl game (for another trip to Hawaii).

    21. Have an authenic Guinness Stout in Ireland.

    22. Visit France.

    23. Visit the Netherlands.

    24. Visit Austrailia.

    25. Visit the Far East.

    26. Learn to play bass guitar and lead guitar.

    27. Become formally trained to play piano.

    28. Visit Italy.

    29. Take a tour of New England (I visited Connecticut during Labor Day).

    30. Visit Seattle.

    31. Visit some Southwest cities that interest me (e.g., Alberquerque, Santa Fe, Phoenix, Las Vegas), see the Grand Canyon, and visit the Buffalo Soldier Museum.

    32. Visit San Diego (going to San Francisco in April, 2008; Anaheim in August, 2008).

    33. Visit St. Louis (one of the birthplaces of jazz).

    34. Visit New Orleans (missed out on a chance in 2004 at the annual conference of the Academy of Management).

    35. Visit Miami (just curious).

    36. See Mt. Rushmore.

    37. See the Hoover Dam.

    38. Visit Yellowstone National Park.

    39. Visit Luray Caverns (almost went as a kid).

    40. Go to a New Year's Eve celebration on the deuce.

    41. Find an attractive, affordable house in New Jersey.

    42. Have recording studio in my house.

    43. Do a comedian "Amateur Night" as a goof (T**i says that I'd bomb).

    44. Run across the field in Texas Stadium (before they tear it down).

    45. Run a marathon.

    46. Become a "Big Brother".

    47. Start a consulting firm (maybe).

    48. Play "over 30-league" basketball (gotta get my fat ass back in shape).

    49. See the Swiss Alps.

    50. Visit South America (perhaps, Brazil).

    51. Write a few books (i.e., both scientific and popular).

    Peace,
