So what are some good free vsts?heres a few im feelinghttp://illformed.org/glitch/http://bram.smartelectronix.com/plugins.php?id=6these are auto choppers that are good for glitch type shit. The first one is really cool. lots of effects built in and does some pretty interesting stuff. http://www.knufinke.de/sir/sir1.htmlthis is sick. Its a free impulse response convolution reverb. Basically you use .wav files of a rooms ambience as your reverb. So you can load in any rooms "sound" and base your reverb of it. Find more reverbs by doing searches for impulse response .wavs (http://www.google.com/search?q=impulse+response+.wavs&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a)http://home2.btconnect.com/christopherg/main.htmhere is a real nice fat sounding synth for free. Pretty cool shit. this is a nice distortion/saturater plugin that ive been using for years. also check out all the other cool plugins on this webring of vst programmers.http://bram.smartelectronix.com/plugins.php?id=3http://www.sonicspot.com/northpolerezfilter/northpolerezfilter.htmlthis is a nice filter with envelopes and delays built inhttp://www.zshare.net/download/48231763be30c9/i got this one from a magazine with one of those free dvds. its good to have a visualizer to help out with rooms that aren't so good for monitoring or using low quality monitors. The way i would use this is to throw it on a track with a song that you like and want to use as a reference. Like say you like the way the bass hits in a certain song. load that song up and add it as an insert. Then take your track and add the visualizer to it and then compare the two and try to match the sonics so you get the results your looking for. Using this you can achieve better mixes by comparing and using pro mixes as your reference. post up some more. Im always looking for dope new shit. Any synths?

Nice and simple VU meter. A lot of people don't seem to use a VU these days, but i can't live without one.
edit: you'll need to scroll to the bottom to find it.
