I think you can pay for those requisite steak dinners now

Is that the most expensive JA record ever sold?

    WOW!

invalid item, im guessing it was the bob marley joint?

  • Why would the listing be removed after the auction ended? Weird. What record was it and what did it sell for?

  • 2800 I think

Yeah it was the Bob Marley 7", the link worked in the original post?
Weird. It's no longer in my Ebay watched items either, that auction is gone.
    The final price was $2,800+.
Hopefully it didn't get invalidated or something.
    That would suck.

i wouldn't be surprised. a lot of the high dollar reggae/ska auctions have had a lot of fake bidders lately. it's actually been quite the talk amongst sellers and buyers currently. cats with zero feedback winning auctions and shit. i watched this auction and although i can't recall the winning bidder's name (something like forestgreen- something) i do remember it being a bidder with a good amount of feedback and i believe a high if not 100% rating.

anyone know if "Selassie is the chapel" goes for more?

    fuck.

people ask me why i don't fuck with ebay much.

among other reasons, this is why.

this morning i woke up to the tune of: ebay has invalidated the item because the high bidder claims that his account was broken into and used to bid on over 200 items in the past week.

great, up goes the bob marley 45 again, but this time without any additional records on the list.

    waste of Frickin' time.

won't be buying anyone lunch at the moment, thanks.

Hello everyone. Believe this an adaptation of Curtis Mayfield's "Talking "Bout My Baby" and this is the first yellow one I've seen up for auction.
