man its times like these i really miss san francisco.LA's eventhttp://www.ladayofthedead.com/index.htmlSFhttp://www.dayofthedeadsf.org/this is by far my favorite event in SF. i love how provincial it makes sf feel cuz everyone is out on the street, anybody and make a altar, and shops stay open and give out chips of pan and hot chocolate. the LA one looks like a goddamn spectacle. with vendors, cash prize for "best altar", and a closed location. for shame.
