harold mckinney question

So I got a second press harold mckinney today (darker cover) and the whole deal plays with noise. Nothing bad once the music starts, but definitely VG+ and was advertised as EX/unplayed.(Yeah, I know, ....)I've heard this is an issue with this particular pressing? Can anybody confirm?

    Every Tribe release I own plays with some noise inherent in the pressing...

    Yeah you're right... I pulled out my copy of wendell harrison and it plays about the same. I'm ultra critical of records right when I get them, then later put the same record on and don't even mind whatever flaw I thought was bad.

    Ever buy an upgrade copy and realize it's not really an upgrade? I'm that guy.
