    Is this early 90s? What's the story? It's interesting to recall a time when the letters "UNLV" meant so much that a group of hard-looking dudes like that would name their rap group after them.

    NOLA's UNLV was from the mid-90's and enjoyed profuction by Mannie Fresh. The beat from Juvenile's Set It Off was recycled from UNLV's Drag Em N tha River.

    But be careful being so impressed with that name. There was also a girl group out of Atlanta whose UNLV stood for Unfortunately No Longer Virgins.

    Now back to NOLA...

    I heard a story about two dudes from the group being hella pissed at each other and shooting one shooting up each other's houses.
