E-Bay shill bidding help????

Check this bid history I copied and pasted. What's going on here??? There is no way a bunch of asterik names just happen to be bidding on the same item. Plus when I bid suddly a asterik name that hadn't bid yet popped up and auto out bid me. What's up???     The asterisks don???t really help hiding identities if you know peoples feedback scores (general or exact). I have many memorized.

    That's for the replys. It looks like I may win another one of his auctions so I wanted to be sure I wasn't being taken for a ride. I'm pretty good about checking into sellers but I hadn't seen this before.

    One more thing though........

    My name didn't get blocked by astriks.....is that something you have to set yourself?????? That's what made me wonder, because I was the only bidder who's name was showing up. (I took mine off that list that I copied).

    I think when an item hits $200 the names go to "hidden" status...sucks as I used to hit up the losing bidders and sell a lot of records that way. Im sure that is the reason for it, ebay doesnt make any money of of folks that way.

    I just realized all this myself a few months ago. I thought it was some shill bidding as well.

    Leave it to ebay to make a very simple thing very confusing....they should either show the whole name or none of it.
