creepy/lame myspace messages

I only have an artist account and I am "friends" with people I've never met, so occasionally I get some weird messages. I got one today that isn't necessarily wierd, but lame. This person told me he downloaded my music and loves it. Then says that he rarely pays for music, but plans on buying mine at some point. Then follows it with "Consider yourself lucky!" Yes, with an exclamation mark. Maybe I'm from a different generation, but what's the point in a message like this? Consider myself lucky? What's wrong with people. I'm not even tripping off the downloading. It's just that statement that's got me laughing/buggin. I've never typed this phrase before, but GTFOOHWTB.
