Just heard this for the first time a few days ago and I'm completely hooked. Had the same or at least a very similar feeling to the first time when I heard Arthur Verocai. Amazing arrangements and a completely solid record.Anyone have the back story on why it came out so long after it was recorded?

I love this record... been outbid on the OG numerous times so I'm still holding on to the reissue. Not sure why it took so long to get released or even why it was only released in Mexico. Regardless, it's solid all the way through. My favorite versions of Pais Tropical and Ye Mele.
