Aight heres my post. Im out of town for a few days and dont have any records with me but i got mp3s to share. Most of these albums are joints that I have on wax and were just easier to download online for Microwave. They all are songs that inspire me and that i really enjoy. Funky Organ Partyhttp://www.zshare.net/download/37786415d6a5b0/Great comp with lots of funky organ pieces. Im a big fan of the Mohawks. I used to spend days cutting up "champ" to learn my juggles. Unfortunately they dont have "Champ" on this album, but "heavy bopper" is that shit. Some other real funky cuts on here including the recently discussed staple "Apache" for you little dudes. Sorry bout the bitrate, the others are better. this is at 128k/VBR. Joe Cuba Sextet - Bang Bang Push Pushhttp://www.zshare.net/download/377793413c6686/Everyones heard "Bang Bang". It basically ushered in the Latin Boogaloo era. This was also one of the first 45's i found when i was younger. I love it and used to hear it a lot around my area from the older El Salvadorian heads. This record doesnt have "El Pito (I Never Go Back To Georgia)", one of IMO Joes best songs. If anyone has a copy please upload it. My copy got stolen/"borrowed" by some hippie. Del The Funky Homosapienhttp://www.zshare.net/download/37786008396dfc/Okay here is some classic Del material. Del is Ice Cubes cousin and he used to write rhymes for the lynch mob if you didnt know. Ice Cube oversaw his first album "I wish my bro George was here" which didnt do that well in sales or to the public. Del wasnt feeling this and completley severed ties with Cube for his next album and started to get into the weird alternative jazzy hip hop with hiero which I grew up on. The first time I ever even heard of Del when he interviewed in High Times about him eating mushrooms and his thoughts on ganj. I knew then he was a pretty funky motherfucker and stayed up on him till this day. Hes hit or miss lately but a lot of these tracks are from what i considered his prime. Mistadobalima was an ill 12" with some dope remixes. My favorite cut though is the Stimulated Dummies remix of made in America. too dope.Devin The Dude - Just Trying to Livehttp://www.zshare.net/download/37789762af34b2/This is my joint right here. Devin on this album was one chill ass dude that I related to a lot with the rhymes. He has a sense of humility and comedy in his material that I dig a lot. Also his scratchy voiced singing is ill. One of my altime favorite songs on here is the DJ Premier produced Doobie Ashtray. I-Hi though is pretty bugged out and the beat compliments dude nicely. Redman - Muddy Watershttp://www.zshare.net/download/37789451ba3349/Now this is an album that means a lot to me. It was the soundtrack to the summer back in 96-97 when it dropped. Some real dope production is on here and "Smoke Buddah" is i think one of the best rap songs ever made (fallback hatters). Spent many many hours zoning out to this smoking grass in my room when my parents where asleep. Redman cracks me up when he rhymes and dude is pretty talented doing a lot of the production, and dj work along with the rhymes on the album. Some assistance from E-dub on a couple tracks and i think he executive produced the album. Lord Jamar - The 5 Precenthttp://www.zshare.net/download/37788891a09528/This here is one of my favorite albums of last year. Lord Jamar from brand nubian brings it hard as fuck on this lp. A lot of the beats are rugged and i really like the joint that flips "my guitar gently weeps". He comes off hard but its on more of a postive note the whole album. I also like how he got the Wu-tang seeds on a track. Its just a pretty soild release in the era of tepid hip hop. Jungle Dub - Classic Dub Remixeshttp://www.zshare.net/download/37789483005d42/Im a big fan of dub and Bob Marley & The Wailers and I really like this comp. Its dubbed out remixes of there tracks. Some real nice tunes on here. I really like the dub version of "Mister Brown" called "Dracula". I dont own this song on record but keeping my eye out. Trojan Label Rare Groove Box Set pt 2http://www.zshare.net/download/3778502c8bea4f/This is pretty cool. More on a roots rock reggae tip. Some nice chill music to smoke a jay to. I have tons of 45's from the UK based Trojan label. This comp is from a box set they released a while ago. I really like "Nuclear Weapon" by Ansel Collins. the switch up with the keys is . This gets a lot of play when I spin. I opened for Dub is a Weapon a while ago and this got mad hippie chicks open with titties exposed ( but ). Crazy night. Kidda - Word Bootyhttp://www.zshare.net/download/37776780efce58/This is a small singles release from UK based hiphop/funk/soul/house artist Kidda . I really have been digging this and its been getting a lot of play out. "All I Need" is a tight ass beat. He does a lot of dope shit with his editing and synths along with samples. Sounds a lot like if Fatboy Slim and Daft Punk had a lovechild. "Start To Wonder" is my favorite joint off the album with him using EWF and his own synths. Comes off nice. And thats it for now. I might upload more later but these alone took like 3 hours to get up. Enjoy. peace....
