Trojan OG question....

Trojan issued and reissued so many fuckin things so many times, which is the OG label color...is it blue? thx.

    Depends when it was originally released. IF it was an 1980/81 OG release, then blue sounds about right (though I'd need to know the title). Early 70 and late 60's pressings such a Eastwwod Rides Again have a the gritty/bumpy hemp-like orange and white Trojan label....in contrast to the smooth stlye of the mid 80's reish's.

    Pieces ( I know you guys hate that term) such as Winston Groovy's and the Chosen Few LP (issued later than the US or JA issues) are boht Blue/white Trojan OG's, so in context with JA music, it's more on a per album base than any steadfast rule.
