All I can tell you is the EP that precedes it has a HEAVY brown cardboard paste-on sleeve.

Isn't the reissue on Soul Jazz? Or am I thinking of something else?

Yeah, there's a soul jazz re, which could never be
mistaken, as it's a double LP and has soul jazz logos ...

I thought I had seen Scorpio-type reissues, too, but
don't see any listed on eBay, Dusty Groove, etc, so
maybe there only is the OG and the soul jazz pressings.

That's what I have, too - yeah, it looks like something
is scratched-out between the dashes ... thanks!!

Looks like mine's legit, pretty sweet for what I paid!

  • I think there are reissues of this that look similar to the originals (non soul jazz related). My friend has one.

  • OG is a trad wraparound paper cover. If it's glossy it's not OG.

oh, the dizzying highs, oh, the terrible lows ...

  • I have to go home and check mine, then. I got mine on eBay but the guy was selling off a collection of no-wave/post-punk stuff, so I'm pretty sure it's OG. I don't remember it being wrap-around.

Soul Jazz has only done comps (and singles), the reissues were just before that stuff came along and were imports - almost certainly bootlegs.

Since they're foreign boots and not Scorpio, they had (from what I recall) thin sleeves which weren't the same style as the ones we're accustomed to here...

The Liquid Liquid EPs were done this way at the same time.

Hope yours turns out legit tho......
