Mary Lou? Latin-R

I just picked up my first Latin album off of Mary Lou (the Charlie Palmieri album) and was wondering if anyone knows much about the history of the label? Mary Lou was the mother label to Salsa Int'l, no? Did it have a physical store at some point? I ask b/c my copy of Palmier's LP has an original "Mary Lou Records" pricing sticker on it which makes me think they had a brick and mortar store at some point unless it was some kind of cut-out thing (though the LP is not a cut-out, technically speaking).
