Anything special this Saturday night? Gotta entertain. WHERE Y'ALL HEADED? Thinking small to medium venue, dance potential, but definitely good music.

    oldies at the mandrake! its a smallish venue. they dont have a cabaret license but people usually dance. might be a line outside though.

    oh and quetzal at the refurbished historical macarthur park bandshell today at 7:30. should be cool!

    Maybe both . Go to Shiggs thing, then hit up the Funky Sole.

    I'm going to see Luis Conte in Pasadena @ Memorial Park (Levitt Pavillion) tomorrow night. I think it's at 8. It's free as well. There's also the African Market Place in Rancho Cienega Park on Saturday. I might make the drive, but it depends on the heat.
