yes...I wish I woulda been thinking ahead and took the day offa work to walk up and down Elvis Presely Blvd selling bottled water for $3 a pop...coulda made about $100 an hour I bet...
the europeans are the only hard core buyers, got boxes of Sun 45s on the counter and they are buying them up(all artists, we arent sitting on any Elvis sun 45s at the moment, just 78s)...most of the more "rural" customers are buying anything, mainly interested in the soundtracks it seems...we have a shit ton of RCA 7" EPs and they dont seem to be moving like we thought...but RCA/Camden crap is selling.
surpisingly, one of the coolest Elvis items we have IMO is the OG poster of him from the Live in Vegas TV special..white jumpsuit, aint fat yet steez...we have tons of these and we only charge $5 for them, but we have only sold one...
Tomorrow will probably be the big day, with all the festivites/candle light vigil bullshit being over after tonight...
