Why do they still do those paintings of court trials? Any collectors?
It might have something to do with a "no camera" rule in certain courtrooms. In Britain, at the Old Bailey, for example, the court artist comes outside with their pastel sketches and actually masking-tapes them to the wall of the court and then the various TV station cameras take turns doing close-ups of the sketches to show on the news later on that night.
Not sure about crime-related collectros though, bros. . .
