i know this has been posted 5603 times already, but i couldn't find any with my weak searching skills.a close friend of mine has asked to help get some records she was given to mp3ville.on a mac, what program would be best to record? something like free protools, or?and just convert using iTunes?thanks

Audacity is a free, easy to use editor. You may need to download LAME to export MP3s directly. Or, just export out of Audacity in WAV format and convert to MP3 in iTunes.
