One of my good friends is getting married in Berkeley on December 8th and is looking for a DJ. What they are looking for is basically the antithesis of the typical wedding DJ. No "YMCA", no "We are Family", no top 40. Basically what they want is r&b, 80's, disco, danceable, wedding friendly, fun and upbeat, with the occaisional dance floor monster thrown in for good measure. Generally no hip hop, but if you can pull off a good mix then it's probably cool. I know you Soulstrut folk know what's up so if you're interested send me a PM.Thanks

    no "We are Family"

    Nile Rogers' productions during that era are unfadable and should NOT be lumped in with YMCA type steez.
