WOW! Strutters really never seize to amaze me.

I mean, I would have NEVER thought that there would be a Chinese boot of Dennis Coffey LPs.

That is a unique find you got there!

I just picked up a chinese 'Hot Buttered Soul' the other week, odd. Flimsy vinyl, cover is just xeroxed onto yellow paper in the plastic sleeve.

On this same tip i have:

    Isaac's 'Chocolate Chip'
    'Doin' It To Death'
    'Mystic Voyage'
'There's No Place Like America Today'

The only cool thing about these is whoever owned them before me must have been a DJ and used Chinese stamps as cue stickers.

I got Shaft's Big Score. Chinese written on the front down the side too, kinda funny. Smaller jacket size.

Ive got an ARETHA GOLD, Dells MUSICAL MENU and The Presidents 5-4-3-2-1 lps all in those horrible "split" covers that open on two sides and only the name and title are in english, the rest is in asian characters.

For some reason, i always thought they were Korean or Vietnamese pressings...I need to step up my Asian Character based language Indentification game.

I always like to make up little stories in my head to about how they were bought by some G.I. on leave in Saigon from some shady street vendor in '69 and the dude ended up lugging all these crazy bootlegs back to the states with him in his footlocker.

I have a copy of this almost identical to what you described, except in Russian on blue paper.

I thought they were Korean as well. I know some of them have "Hong Kong" on them, but most shit manufactured in the SE Asia in the 60s and 70s was made in Hong Kong...

I have a Lee Morgan one that has a really cool cover that is a painting of him. The sound quality is pretty bad though.
