UHaul + Cat/carrier = how much pain? NRR

Has anyone had to ferry a cat cross-country in a Uhaul before and has some words of wisdom to share on the matter? I have to do this at the end of the month. I am thinking of using Boars Head ham as bait to get him in the carrier. My cat's name is Lord Knuckles and he does NOT play. He is a stray from Hell's Kitchen who has yet to let me pick him up (I have had him 6 years now. . .batch):Thanks in advance - AJ

    Excellent cat photos!

Though, unfortunately, I have no good advice. I assume he doesn't like to travel?
Maybe he can fly and meet you out West? Or try natural kitty calmers. Also, all Motel 6's take pets.

    Have fun!
