I met Bonz at the UK launch for that Hip-Hop Immortals book in London a few years ago. He was kinda faded, but I remember telling him that his obituary for Frank Sinatra in Vibe was the best one I'd read. He seemed pleased, but it was a little hard to tell.

Are you sure he wrote that? I distinctly recall rolling my eyes at a Toure-penned Sinatra obit... I would assume in VIBE

Actually, come to think of it, it mightn't have been an obit after all, but an article not long before Sinatra died. I think it was called "Original Gangster" or something. Either way, I thought it was a good article and I told Bonz as much.
