I always thought it was kind of weak how he bailed on KRON 4 (after they lost their status as an NBC affiliate) and went over to ABC, but it turns out he originated on ABC7, so I guess he was just going back to them.He went in for hip surgery and died of a heart attack. That's scary.

My pops went to the dentist, got drugged up and had a heart attack an hour or 2 later. Good thing I was across the street when it happened. Scary indeed.
