Any opinions on this early '70s LP that The Sensuous Black Woman (and The Sensuous Black Man) was likely based on? It was originally a book, and you've probably seen the album itself advertised on Atlantic innersleeves, next to MC 5 and Roberta Flack albums...

These records get old pretty fast once you've heard a few of 'em.

These records get old pretty fast once you've heard a few of 'em, though they sound new again when echoing through the Pleasure Dome.

I also like all these records
Erotique Music For Lovers (Red Holloway Trio)
    Mort Garson For Sensuous Lovers
    Xaviera Hollander
    Rita Super Erotica

More suburban than the Fax, Laff and Davis records and better music.

The woman whose voice is "The Sensuous Woman" is still around, and very down to Earth too.
