Cleaning A MacBook

I have one of those white MacBooks, and I've noticed this slightly dark discoloration on both sides of the touch pad. I always wash hands before using it, so it's not dirt as far as I know, and I've seen the same discoloration on other people's white MacBooks. Anyone else here have this issue? Is is something that can be cleaned, or what? How do y'all go about cleaning your laptops (MacBooks specifically)?

It's just general wearing from your fingers touching it all the time.

I use a 3m microfibre cloth and a little water, gets the shit sparklin new man!!

    peace.

  • I forgot to mention the screen - what's the best way to clean the screen without damaging it? Water? Alcohol?

Don't use ANYTHING but straight water and a microfibre cloth on the screen, for the rest of it, you can use tissue and water, but you gotta shine the macbook up otherwise it leaves water streaks!
