    Yeah, you can get a minty OG on Atlantic, a better pressing than that 4 Men, for less that what the reissue costs. I made the "4 Men with Beards" mistake once, I guess the whole "new gatefold" thing with new liner notes, etc, is cool, but the pressing was eh..., the label was ugly, and the jackets are on really glossy, cheap cardboard. I was tempted to get their Sonny Sharrock RI, but I'm holding out for an OG after how lame the Otis Redding one I bought was.



    Also, although "Dusty in Memphis" has that "Son of a Preacher Man" sound people check for, a lot of that record is not as soulful - in fact, I find much of her mid-60's stuff on Phillips to be more soulful, with some interesting "big beat" production. I have "In Memphis," but I listen to this one more:







    The intro to "You Don't Own Me" is a loop the RZA would sell Lucky Arms for...
