Watched all that shit when I was a kid. A local station use to play them at 3 pm on the weekdays in the 70s and 80s, plus the local Asian station also use to play Japanese live action and cartoon TV shows on Saturdays. We also had a Japantown in SF that sold a bunch of die cast and plastic toys that I was an avid collector of. In fact, I still have a whole expidite full of Japanese toys.
I was a big Ultraman buff when I was in elementary school, but looking back now, Kamen Raida was much better. Ultraman would wait until the very end to fight the monster, Kamen Raida would have action throughout the episode.
