    Our friend Roy Loney still plays with them from time to time. I think he just recorded an album with those cats. Roy is the dude.

    anyone who knows Roy Loney is alright with me!

    Tell Roy that he was a serious hero of mine when I was getting started down the path to record collector OCD (not to mention someone who inspired me to front garage bands as a hobby!)! Tracking down every Groovies records became an obsession, and the Groovies were NEVER as good after Roy bailed. That dude rocks.
