  • Great label, we could all use more copies of stark reality... who's getting ready to list all the pieces?? I'm pretty sure it's a small list, right?

I recently sold my spare of this for $60

Yeah, I only have this and Stark Reality on the label. Did any other Carlos Malcolm Lps come out on this label apart from Bustin out the Ghetto?

yes, the (almost) last release from AJP from '78

I've heard it described as "proto-modern soul"

Yeah. I had one a long time ago and don't remember it being all that amazing.

    here's the acid archives review...

This organ-rich heavy rock album has the sound collectors like, but is pretty average without any one song standing out. The lyrics try hard to be deep and don't really pull it off. It's more "heavy" than "hard," and has a few powerful moments. Recommended only to genre fans. [AM]
