paper or plastic

Its probably been gone over before, but is there any reason to prefer one liner over another. I hate the plastic ones because they always bunch up, but are they really any better? what about the combo paper-plastic ones, they look pricey. Not that I would ever get rid of my OG Sergio Mendes inner sleaves.
