Who else is working today? All my friends have it off, they're allchillin' & grillin' and laughing at me, asI drive this diesel monster around in 85 degreeweather and sweat in memorial to those who camebefore. This is weak sauce, but I'm used to the flavor.WHO ELSE IS SLAVING FOR A BUCK WHEN THEY SHOULDBE SHOES OFF, FEET UP, DRINK IN HAND?? H O L L E R !

I'm in the shop. It's not really "work" per se, and I actually did just buy a beer... but still.

I'd rather be feet up, eating burgers, and 2-3 beers in at this point.

Birigwa is on the turntable, heat is on the wall, and I just sold my NM promo copy of Clarence Reid "Masterpiece" a moment ago, so I've at least made some scratch for the trouble.

I'm ATL stuck in a hotel. "Work" related as well.

    why must I cry.

Why must you sit in the hotel?

I believe the one Freaky Tracy is down in that neck of the woods!

cause i have to be. I also don't know where to go or what to do PLUS it's memorial day I think most shit is dead today.

  • I'm stuck at work and found out that my boss didn't show up today (when we had a scheduled meeting - which is why I'm here).

I also just woke up from a nap and I'm now eating a turkey sandwich.

I'm well into my third day in a row of moving, which feels like work. Except I'm not getting paid.

Why must I sweat? And do I really need all of these records?

The holiday, or working on it?

Absolutely not. Just leave them in the front hall
and I will be by to pick them up within 4 hours.

Yeah - sometimes your posts can be a little, um, vague.

BUT YES WORKING ON HOLIDAYS IS HORSESHIT!

I only get Thanksgiving and Christmas Day off

In fact, I worked an hour late today

But now I'm off to the rink to take out my aggression on others!

Today is yard work day. You know, being a responsible fellow:

Hours of weeding (= killing weed trees, not dan-dee-lions); pruning trees; digging out roots; raking, sweeping, & shoveling detritus from front yard, alley, back yard

No mowing today (mower didn't start after priming, gassing, and checking plugs). Anyone in Chicago got a mower I could borrow for half an hour? The neighbors want money to borrow theirs.

I put in an hour at the office. Not too bad considering.
