Technics 1200 repair question

A few days ago the lid on the on/off switch came off and I can't reattach it. Is this an easy repair and any idea how much it might run me? Thanks in advance.

    the part is about 4 dollars. you'll have to take the bottom off the turntable, but its an easy operation. they designed those things so shitty because you can just twist the power knob too far and the pin holding it in place can pop out! i just fixed mine and had to order the part. you should take it apart first because the pin could have just fallen inside and you won't have to order the part, you'll just reattach it. both of mine did that about 15 years ago, but it was an easy fix. good luck.
