WAV to Mp3 Converter (Mac-R)

I am having a hell of a time trying to find a converter to put on my computer.I have already used Switch, but I dont want to pay for it. What does everyone else use??

    Advanced / Convert Selection to MP3

    Just make sure you've set it up in your iTunes Preferences to use the MP3 converter (not AIFF or AAC) and that your bitrate is set to your liking.

    TCM broke down the steps for you.

    Select the songs you want to convert. Go to Advanced menu (up top) and select "convert selection to mp3"

    As mentioned, you haev to go in your preferences (under itunes menu) and then select "advanced"
    click the importing tab. Import using mp3 encoder. Choose the quality you want.

    Audacity is free and can export to mp3.

    I LIVE BY THE CD-DA Extractor program. it converts everything to evrything, as well as rips and burns cds.

    been using it for years.
