Chicago Afrobeat Project ?

Anybody know anything about them? Apparently, they're playing an AIDS benefit / Fela tribute show at Hothouse Friday night in Chicago. http://chicagoafrobeatproject.com/Audio samples sound ok...Gig poster looks promising ... but then beneath the ad there's a poster advertising their appearance at "Summer Camp 2007", along with moe, Umphrey's McGee, Keller Williams, and like sixty other McJambands.Is CABP legit, or is all this a little phish-y?

    used to catch them at the note, theyd play shows at 3 a.m.

    I remember it bieng really good, but I was also probably pretty tore up. They had these amazing dancers one night.

    i actually like a lot of the jam band stuff. I have opened for a few of those cats on the flyer, like brothers past, and umelt, and the music is solid. Good shit to get nice and drunk and stoned too. Ill check out these dudes now.
