Humidity+desert+my computer=?

I work out of town in the desert and stay out there a few days a week. I've been wanting to bring my laptop out there just to have something to do when I'm off of work. Watch dvd's, fuck around with ableton live, shit like that. The problem is, summers coming up and it's gonna be like 115 degrees out in the cali desert...Should I play it safe and leave my shit at home in more reasonable weather?
