    I definitely know the urge you speak of (ayo?). It is the very same urge that made me purchase Elektron's previous synth thing, the SIDStation, which has a Commodore 64 chip for a heart, a few years back:



    I hardly use it, but it does look very nice on my worktable.

    I got mine from a specialist in San Francisco who sold all sorts of new and used analog synths from around the world. The dude's name was Micky T, and he ran a store out of his small Tenderloin apartment called The Drum Museum Museum.

    I've heard good things. If you can wait awhile the Roger Linn/Dave Smith Boomchik looks real interesting as well.
