Is there any difference between the Island pressing and the Mango pressing?

  • i've never seen a mango (vinyl) pressing - just the island one.
think it was just a c.d. re-release with same tracks ?

I copped one the other day. It's distributed by Island, but pressed by Mango.

UK pressing is a far superior original mix. Cop it!

It's not right here in front of me, pretty sure it's on Island not Mango, but definitely clearly labeled as a UK pressing. It's not unusual for a U.S. release to be f**ked with, the practice goes back to Hendrix and the Beatles...the UK version is a different (better) mix.

im still at a loss about this 'different better mix' statement.
are you saying the island and mango versions differ ?
cos if you are it would answer hemol's original question.
