i got this LP 2 years ago for $10 at a record show, and ive heard people talk about it here and there, but im wondering...is this pretty sought-after? how rare is this LP? seems like more people would be after it because the good stuff is pretty quality...

    Fairly common in the Midwest (the band was from KC), I think dudes are put off by the high honky factor of the cover picture.
    The versions of "Lickin Stick" and "Cold Sweat" are very tough and authentic, however.

    It's good for what it is, and they weren't the only group at the time who were like that. The Magnificent Men were almost along the same lines.

    But that album is alright. "Cold Sweat" has that nice little section, which can be used as a bit of ambience under strategically chopped beats.

    In my exp, it's a $20 piece at best. Not rare so much as overlooked. And yeah, the drumbreak on "Cold Sweat" is
