"I should sell this... no, wait, this is great!"

Anyone do this over and over with a particular record? It feels like every six months I pull out Ahmad Jamal's "Jamal Plays Jamal," thinking I should put it in my "to Ebay" pile. Then I listen to it again and think, "Damn, this is too good to ever sell!" Why I keep forgetting that I like it is beyond me.

Mccoy Tyners "Sahara" is my "constantly forget how great it is" record.

This happened to me with Les McCann's "McCanna" LP. One of those records I saw went for $ (at least way more than I paid) so all I did a quick needle drop in the shop to check condition. It took a last minute toss on the platter before auctions went for me to realize that I needed something so raw roots and jazzy in my life, not to mention McCann collection.

...then I tripped and my foot landed on the corner of the jacket, putting a deep crease in it.

Guess I'll be keeping it for sure now!

    Such a good record though.
