One of the dopest concept albums of all time, no doubt.Sometimes it seems people only check for Sport, but the whole album storyline is just gggreat.

    YES!! i've been meaning to pull this one out lately, it's been a while. thanks for reminding me. such a rewarding end to end listen. i like how they pull out "Them Changes"

    I GOT SOME NEWS YOU DUDES COULD USE...

    I assume that many of youse are aware of this, but for those that aren't, Hustler's Convention is the main inspiration for all the original rappers... Mele Mel, Grandmaster Caz, Cowboy, all of 'em. That record was like the street bible back in the mid 70s... my older brother had it as did a lot of my older cousins and pretty much everybody that was into that street life. But if you listen to a lot of very early rap you can hear the Lightnin' Rod influence on how they phrased a lot of their rhymes
