Mandatory shipping insurance requirement (Ebay)

So I am thinking of making it a requirement for items over $100 to be shipped with insurance. This is because of certian bitchmade buyers trying to run scams and claim that they never received records. Has anyone else made insurance a requirement? Any input in regards to this would be greatly appreciated.

    on all buyers from France - anything over $25 requires them to pay for either registered (someone has to sign for it) or insurance.

    Everyone else - $50 requires the same unless I've sold to them before.
