And you've never seen it before. This year's D2 championship. Winona State v. Barton. Holy fuck-fuck. Context/kicker/spoiler below.

Winona had previously won 57 in a row and were the defending champs.

    I heard the commentators talking about the finish in
    the D2 championship, during a D1 game, like about how you
    can never count somebody out, look what Barton did etc etc...
    But I had no idea, that is THE BEST finish to a game I've ever seen.

    I am clueless on NCAA stuff but that was amazing AND I love watching people going nuts after winning a game.

    This was previously my favorite (10 points in 1 minute), but it's a pale comparison to those Barton guys.

    damn i totally forgot about that game. The following year the Terrapins went all the way i believe... But that Duke team was stacked!

    Probably why we won it in 2001, the year that game was played...I still think it's ridiculous that Duke didn't win in 1999 with Elton Brand, Trajan Langdon, Shane Battier, Corey Maggette, and Will Avery.

    And Maryland did win in 2002; I was at a bar watching the game and one of the Terrapin fans had a t-shirt that read: "Fear the Turtle - Fuck Duke." Nevermind that they were playing Indiana.
