    IMHO his impact on those recordings was negligible at best. Only "Tymps" sounded more interesting than it's Jon Brion counterpart.

    i thought deej was the expert on Shawnna not Fiona Apple.

    i made my extra-extraordinary machine by taking half the tracks off both versions. I picked Jon Brion's version of Tymp cos i don't wanna hear Dre snare/claps and I'd rather hear the lo-fi version of Brion's instrumental sections then some Triton-ized imitation.
