Today was a very good day, found the first Ofege, and finaly a clean copy of the Black Santiagos 45 "paulina" which I got outbid at $ 388 a few months ago.An LP by Nigerian/Beninoise Band Ogassa that I've never seen before which has one monster Afrobeat/Funk track including one of the wildest organ massacres I've ever heard. Also turned up another bunch of previously unheard Poly Rythmo stuff.Oh yeah and some more early afrobeat stuff by Gnonnas Pedro...It's increadible that a country as small as Benin could have had such an output of records!

I got this guy the other day. Fun Meters-ripoff venture by Eddie Bocage.

Looks cool, never heard this, I like Lionel Robinson "stepping out" on the same label.
I used to have this other "rubber band" song, forgot by whom and my wife always thought it meant "rob a bank, rob rob rob a bank..."

When I first got into beatmaking, that Nektar record was one of the first things I looped. Nostalgia, dude, nostalgia...
