Going on a road trip

I'll mostly be in the following states: South Dakota, Wyoming, and Colorado. Possibly a few others, but not at the moment. It doesn't matter where, but if anyone can recommend any digging spots in these states that would be great. I should mention that we will not be hitting any major cities like Denver or anything of that scale.Already trying to do a little looking around to see whats what, but anything is helpful. Thanks
