    Yeah, whenever "Roadhouse Blues" comes on in a bar or pool hall, I always feel the urge to sink a couple bourbons quick-like. Funny about the Dropkicks song - I won't lie though, Boston on St. Paddy's (or Evacuation Day as we call it when it lands on a weekday) is kind of

    You have all the lightweight jackasses drinking green beer and generally doing a daytime version of New Year's, but with the added bonus that just about everybody but the actual Irish are wearing kitschy accessories that feature leprechauns, shamrocks, sheleighleighs, etc.

    Give me the day off, a few friends and some Jameson, and I'm straight.

    Oh, and you can't go wrong with "Come On Eileen" on St. Paddy's. It fits right into the whole scene, and everybody knows the words. At least around here, they do.
