    c'mon y'all WHAT YOU GOT?

Zetigeist is nice and all, but I'm cool off the fixed-gear bike crowd this weekend. Plus with the weather being what it is, shit'll be packed up in there.

    I want some music/drank spots.

Morse: whatup with one of your bougie gigs?

P*trick: you getting becky in the Marina or what cousin?

Serg: where the secret undercounter drank spots for this weekend?

how many of y'all strutteurs are riders, not just fixies but REAL bikes too, with gears n shit....represent your sunny sf rides.

ps- when did ziegeist turn from a motorcyle bar into a fixie/hipster bar?

pps- k moist is in austin this weekend.

sunny day bbq and some cold ones for this lover.

wish i could find raj's photoshopped "k in canadas bike"

    It hasn't.

I rode my bike to work four times this week. I live in SF and work in Daly City.

My bike is big and not hip.

is your bike motorized or fixed or what?

  • 24 gear Specialized hybrid. I sit upright on it.

I parked it in front of Gestalt that new bike bar on 16th in front of Kilowatt and had my tires slashed.

I was convinced it was because my bike wasn't cool like everybody else's.

im sorry to hear that, alot of people are jackasses about "cool" bikes.
to me, if it has two wheels and you ride it, thats cool.

too many years in the cyling industry has soured me to people that buy boutique bikes and than proceed to let them get dusty.

Yeah, I'm not sure why it happened. There are plenty of crazy junkies up in that area who could have done it. Plenty of frat boys around there on the weekend too. Who knows why it happened.

I like riding my bicycle though. Riding 7 miles to work is a good way to start the day.

  • riding is always a good way to start the day. i put in about 30 miles this morning.

any strutters wanna sign up for some charity rides/centuries this season?

  • Damn dude...where do you ride? What kind of bike?

i ride all over the area. i live on the peninsula and usually go to portola valley, or woodside, up in the hills away from cars and people or sometimes over the hill to the coast and back. I rode up to the city a few weeks ago, stopped by jinxs house but he was lucky enough not to be home and see me in my spandex.
i think that was about 55miles round trip.

i ride a look 585 with campy, best part bout bein in the industry.

oh yeah, almost forgot we were talkin bout this weekend.

Charlie Murphy is at Cobbs? on sat, should be good.

if you like bettin on the ponies, tomorrow morn-afternoon is dollar days at bay meadows. that should be good too, my buddy & his girl have hit three trifectas in the past month. 280 bucks is a decent payout for a $2 bet.
