One Of My Turntables Died Last Night

I was in the process of listening to some 45s I'd just cleaned and all of a sudden it lost pitch & the platter got real hard to spin, I tried starting it again a few times & it wouldn't revolve by itself, I had to spin it with my finger to get the platter moving & then it wouldn't keep pitch, I tried this about 3 times & now it won't even spin at all. Dumb, now I am down to one turntable & have to get this one fixed. Frustrating, lucky I don't have any gigs coming up where I have to bring my own gear. Anyone else had this happen, does it mean I need a new motor? Then thing got worse because I decided to finally watch the download of that Vinyl movie & only had the first 20m downloaded, it was like a horrible teaser. So then I was so bummed out, I just went to bed. One of those evenings I guess.
